Gloria walking in an urban environment

It's been three months since we drove across country and moved back to CT. I feel that we hit the ground running and settled fairly quickly into our tiny apartment by a harbor in Stamford, CT. Our new community is much more urban and multi-generational than what we had in Santa Fe, NM

Full Circle Solo Exhibit...

October 24-November 16, 2024

I am currently working on finalizing my inventory for this wonderful solo exhibit, FULL CIRCLE, curated by Natasha Karpinskaia at the ARTWORKS Gallery on the Green in Norwalk, CT. It will be the best celebration of my return to CT and its fabulous Art Community. So please put it on your calendar and come by to help me celebrate.

Full Circle

When a woman comes full circle, it's a journey not the end, that matters. She is a mother, lover, sister, daughter and everything in between. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform. She is filled with good instincts, passionate about creativity and ageless knowing.

Anais Nin said "Life is a full circle widening until it joins".

I feel like I have come back to the original place after a series of developments. The encaustic paintings for this exhibit have gone through a full cycle marked by each layer of paint as a separate experience. Sometimes to be covered by a final layer that covers the rest.

Full circle is a profound life moment. The resurgence of purpose and commitment of love.

Each painting marks one point in the continuum of the circle of life.
